The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) believes that investing in girls means addressing the barriers that can prevent them from reaching their full educational potential. Access to adequate nutrition is one important part of that investment.
GIFU continues to seek donor support for its Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda initiative. The program seeks to support girls whose families face economic challenges by helping provide nutritious meals during the school day.
Adequate nourishment can support girls' participation in classroom activities and help them remain attentive as they pursue their studies. It can also offer families much-needed relief when household resources are stretched.
GIFU welcomes individuals, foundations, and partners to join this effort. Your contribution can help put nutritious food on school plates and hope in the hearts of girls working toward a better future.
With continued support, GIFU can strengthen school feeding efforts and help more girls learn, grow, and prepare to become confident contributors to their communities.
