For a girl to benefit fully from education, she needs more than a classroom and books. She also needs the basic nourishment that supports her ability to concentrate, participate, and remain active throughout the school day.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) is continuing to seek donor support for nutritious school meals for girls in rural Uganda. The initiative focuses on helping girls from vulnerable households access meals while at school, particularly where families have limited resources.
Every contribution can help provide food and strengthen school feeding activities. By supporting this initiative, donors are helping address one of the everyday challenges that can affect a girl's educational experience.
GIFU welcomes partners who are committed to investing in girls and their communities. Together, we can help create school environments where girls have a better opportunity to learn and develop their abilities. Continued support will enable GIFU to feed future leaders of tomorrow and help girls move toward brighter and more independent futures.
