For a girl to thrive in school, she needs an environment that supports both her educational and basic needs. The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) continues to seek donor support for nutritious school meals for girls in rural communities.
Many vulnerable families struggle to provide consistent and nutritious food because of limited income and difficult living conditions. School feeding can help provide nutritional support during the school day while helping girls remain engaged in their studies.
GIFU is appealing to donors and partners to help sustain this important initiative. Contributions can support the purchase of food and help extend school feeding assistance to more girls in need.
A meal at school may seem simple, but for a vulnerable girl, it can represent care, stability, and encouragement to continue learning. Your support can help create schools where girls have greater opportunities to thrive. Continued support will enable GIFU to feed future leaders of tomorrow and strengthen the foundation for brighter communities.
