For a child in a rural Ugandan school, having breakfast, lunch and basic learning materials can make the school day more manageable and meaningful.
Unfortunately, some children come to school hungry and may not have the basic materials required for their lessons. A lack of exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers or school bags can make it difficult for them to complete assignments and participate alongside their classmates.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing for support to help vulnerable children receive nutritious breakfast and lunch during the school day, together with essential scholastic materials.
Our vision is simple: a child should have food to nourish their body and learning materials to develop their mind.
Your donation can help us purchase food and educational supplies for children in rural communities. It can help a child sit in class with a meal in their stomach, a book in front of them, and the materials needed to take part in learning.
Whether you give $5, $10, $20 or more, your contribution can become part of a larger effort to support children who need a helping hand.
