Dear donor,
Since the beginning of the pandemic, computers have become an essential need for all students. For almost two years students who did not have computers at home had to continue distance education with TV broadcasts or with smart phones. Sometimes they had to share the one smart phone of the family with their siblings to follow schoolwork.
CYDD immediately started campaigns to raise funds to purchase computers for its scholarship students and later started its own on-line free learning programs for the students who were given computers.
After the pandemic was over and schools reopened came the devastating earthquake of Feb 6,2023. Computers were buried under the earthquake rubble and many schools in the region again started distance learning. The need for technological support escalated again and CYDD started new campaigns to help its scholarship students.
In 2023, CYDD purchased and distributed 300 laptops computers to its university students and 500 hometech computers to its high school scholarship students.
In 2024, 300 laptops were purchased recently to be distributed to new university students but the demand is much higher and we need your valuable contributions as always.
Thank you..
