Dear donor,
Due to the high inflation and unpredicted increase in the cost of living in Türkiye, this coming school year CYDD decided to pay, as scholarships, double the amount paid in Turkish liras last year. Thus the number of new scholarships to be given this year will have to be limited to the number of scholarship students who have graduated in June 2024. However we do have more than 1900 high school female graduates and at least one third of them will start university and become CYDD university scholarship students. With new 1900 high school students to be accepted and about 600 university scholarship students, we will have a new demand for computers.
CYDD is purchasng notebook computers for high school students and laptop computers for university students at discounted special prices offered to our charity. We want to be ready with a stock when demand for technological support starts to come in with the new applications.
