Dear friends, your support is vital in protecting children from preventable deaths in Nigeria. While we have received some assistance, more funds are needed to fully implement this project.
Diarrhea remains the second leading cause of death among children under five in Nigeria, claiming over 70,000 lives annually. Many families in rural and low-income communities cannot access oral rehydration solution (ORS) or zinc in time, putting children at severe risk of dehydration and death.
This project aims to provide free ORS and zinc to 5,000 children and train local health workers to administer treatment and educate parents on home care. Although we have received initial support, additional resources are required to start this life-saving care.
Your continued contribution will help prevent needless deaths and strengthen child health in vulnerable communities.
Warm regards,
Joy O. Etubi
