Our Orchards for Animals initiative has been bringing the transformative benefits of fruit trees to animal sanctuaries in the United States for over two decades. Planted directly within or alongside animal habitats, these orchards provide fresh, organic food for rescued residents, shade and shelter, natural enrichment, and crucial habitat for local wildlife.
We are excited to share that we are looking to expand this program to animal sanctuaries in the United Kingdom!
If you operate or know of a registered animal sanctuary, rescue center, or farmed animal refuge in the UK that could benefit from a dedicated community fruit tree orchard, we want to hear from you. We provide the trees, planting supplies, and hands-on expertise to design and plant tailored orchards that best serve your sanctuary's unique space and animal care needs.
We invite UK sanctuaries to apply today for plantings in winter 2027/2028.
Bringing orchards to rescued animals and the sanctuaries that care for them relies entirely on donor support. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help us purchase trees, transport supplies, and plant life-changing fruit trees for animal sanctuaries across the UK and beyond!
