Dear friends,
We are happy to share that 30,000 fruit trees have been planted in Uganda this spring!
With the assistance and skill of our local team and partners in Jinja, trees were planted and distributed at schools, community and health centers, and household and farmer plots.
These trees join tens of thousands of others we have planted over the past eleven years working in Uganda. The majority of those trees are already producing harvests, with thousands of pounds of jackfruit, tamarind, mango, citrus, and avocado being harvested for household consumption and income each year.
This is life-giving and life-sustaining work. And we can't do it without your support.
Please consider donating to help us plant tens of thousands of more trees in coming years, ensuring every home in Uganda is well-fed and well-nourished by sustainable, environmentally beneficial agro-food systems!
To a fruitful future,
The FTPF Team
