Dear friends,
We are proud to share that our recent efforts in Uganda have resulted in the planting of 30,000 trees. These trees were established at community centers and schools, as well as the vast majority distributed directly to local households to provide long-term food security, income support, and environmental restoration.
All of our plantings follow regenerative principles to ensure the health of both the harvest and the soil. Our nursery now serves as a central demonstration site for the local community, showcasing successful food forest design and implementation. Through site visits and hands-on maintenance demonstrations, we are empowering local families with the skills to manage their own productive ecosystems.
This large-scale project would not be possible without the expertise of our local staff. We want to extend a special thank you to Edward and Musa for their tireless work in coordinating such a massive undertaking for yet another successful year.
We are currently finalizing our field data and look forward to providing a more detailed report soon, including photos of the new orchards and the communities they serve.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to grow a greener, more food-secure future in Uganda.
With gratitude,
The FTPF Team
