This April, we were in Uganda for our annual project to plant tens of thousands of trees across the region of Busoga.
We are continuing our vital work in this region that is actively experiencing the effects of climate change, notably through drier conditions and delayed rainy seasons. Food-producing trees adapted to these conditions boost soil moisture, cool ambient temperatures, and provide an essential component of a diversified agroforestry system for small-scale farmers and families relying on subsistence farming in rural Busoga.
We are very proud of the work we do, and we are committed to returning in 2027 for our 13th year in a row. To make that possible, and to ensure we plant tens of thousands more trees next year and beyond, we rely on your support. This project is entirely self-funded, and we need your support to bring it to life.
Every donation goes directly toward another tree in the ground, another family with more secure income, more shade and fertile soils, less worry, and greater resilience.
