Dear Friend,
What a busy summer! We are happily at work during our planting season, bringing fruit trees to all corners of the country and world. We just finished up a project in our Trees for Tribes program where we brought hundreds of trees to the Red Lake Chippewa Indians in Michigan (our second year in row there!). Next week FTPF staff and volunteers depart for the fourth consecutive year to El Salvador as part of a 10-year project to plant 100,000 fruit trees in that country.
While we are out in the fields many days, we are also hard at work to secure funds for next year's projects, including Fruit Trees for Uganda. As you can imagine, this is always a challenging part of being a not-for-profit organization, and also a very important piece. Therefore, we are asking our generous donors to help us along the way by making a donation today. Every little bit helps, and allows us to spend less time at our desks and more time working to bring environmental, societal, and nutritional justice to those around the world who need it the most.
Remember to follow us on Facebook and Instagram in order to see live updates from our projects, and as always, thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm!
Best,
Lizzy Rainey
