Dear Project Supporters,
This is immense pleasure for ARTS Foundation Pakistan to share with you the project’s report to keep updated to you with achievements made through your generous support to empower most vulnerable segments i.e. orphan girls living in hard conditions and for flung areas in Sindh province of Pakistan.
ARTS Foundation aim is to enhance the employment prospects of orphanage girls providing them with vocational training and skills to meet their end. So far, ARTS Foundation have identified 100+ orphan girls who wants to get vocational stitching training so that they can learn and earn as well. Your support so far has helped us trained orphan girls to get vocational training of stitching and upon the completion of the campaign, all orphan girls will get sufficient training and business marketing opportunities to earn well and live a quality life of their own.
ARTS Foundation has been conducting skill development vocational trainings to the destitute orphan girls in the surrounding of Mirpurkhas District of Sindh Province, Pakistan since 2015. ARTS Foundation keep identifying orphan girls age group between 16 to 30 years for 4 months stitching and dress making vocational training.
Challenge
Many rural villages of Mirpurkhas, Pakistan are lacking of Government high schools nearby. Their higher education is depending on private schools, where school fee, uniform cost and other material cost is very high. Many remote rural families are very poor. The parent’s illiteracy and jobless conditions makes their family condition worse. In some instance, they are unable to buy even a pencil for their children. As such, many parents are stopping their children's higher education and makes their children life miserable.
Solution
This project will provide free of cost vocational stitching training to the under privileged orphan girls. The girl's future will be bright and well secured.
Long-Term Impact
The project will provide an excellent education and opportunities to the orphan girls in need and ensure her holistic growth and development. The orphan girls will be protected from child marriages, trafficking etc. This project creates a chance for the girls to create their own destiny.
