Menstruation is a natural process and not a disease, meanwhile every girl has the right to menstrual health information and materials. Vulnerable girls have missed education due to lack of menstrual hygiene services in schools and access to reproductive health information. It is virtually impossible for vulnerable women to afford a consistent supply of pads at current pricing and distribution channels. Poor girls miss education and are subjected to judgement, exclusion and disgrace by a society that view menstruation as a crime.
Integrated Agricultural Association (I.A.A) continues to promote gender equality in education by advocating for sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people. In the past months, I.A.A has trained over 1500 vulnerable girls on how to make reusable menstrual pads and distributed over 50 dozens of hygiene pads to over 500 girls in Bamenda.
The initial estimated budget for this project is $15,000.00, but I.A.A has so far raised $121 through donations on GlobalGiving. I.A.A need to raise $14,879 by the end of September 2023 to launch a ''Media Menstrual Health Campaign" to increase access to sexsual and reproductive health information amongst young. The Radio and TV approach will reach over 20million people per month. I.A.A would not be able to realize this goal without your suppport. I.A.A continues to welcome donation of any amount to implement this vision. Your donation will continue to make a great difference in our community.
Thank you for being our heroe, without your support we will not be able to continue this incredible mision of serving humanity.
