Title: Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit Brings Free Medical Care to Flood-Affected Families in Shujabad, Multan
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation organized a free medical camp in Moza Janghi (Shujabad), District Multan, to provide essential healthcare services to flood-affected families.
Through the Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit, more than 120 women and children received free medical checkups, medicines, and diagnostic tests.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s ongoing flood relief and healthcare response across Pakistan, through which over 200,000 people have received vital assistance since August 16.
Story / Update
After the devastating floods in southern Punjab, families in Moza Janghi, Shujabad, faced significant challenges in accessing basic healthcare. Stagnant water and poor sanitation increased the risk of skin infections, diarrhea, and other diseases—particularly among women and children.
To address this urgent need, Alkhidmat Foundation deployed its Mobile Health Unit to the affected area, setting up a temporary medical camp staffed with qualified doctors and paramedics. Patients received complete medical checkups, free medicines, and diagnostic tests for common post-flood illnesses.
Community members expressed immense gratitude for Alkhidmat’s timely support, which ensured access to much-needed healthcare right at their doorstep.
