This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s ongoing winter relief efforts aimed at protecting vulnerable families living in cold, hard-to-reach areas of Pakistan.
Story / Update
Kel Village in Neelum Valley experiences extremely harsh winters, with heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures that make daily life difficult—especially for low-income families. Limited access to markets, healthcare, and heating resources places children, women, and the elderly at high risk of cold-related illnesses.
To address these urgent needs, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a winter relief distribution in Kel Village. Each family received essential winter supplies, including warm blankets, clothing, and other cold-protection items, enabling them to better withstand the severe weather conditions.
The relief brought timely comfort and protection to families living in remote areas, many of whom lack adequate heating or winter clothing. Community members expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that the assistance helped them safeguard their children and elderly family members during the most challenging winter months.
