SHINE Humanity, along with its field partner, Comprehensive Disaster Response Services(CDRS) continued providing services to flood-affected communities in Pakistan. Here is a summary of our activity for the month of September:
Shikar Pur, Sindh: Our focus is on providing child health care and medicines here. We were able to treat a total of 1,213 children in the Shikar Pur District Hospital Pediatric Ward.
Swat, Khyber Pakhtunwa: In September, we treated 2,429 patients.We have improved our services for Swat. The new Labor Room is well-equipped with incubators, baby warmers, suction machines and all other necessary equipment and supplies. We have started providing 24 hours service and were able to retain patients in our female and children wards. We have also been able to install power generator to cover electricity break down.
