Women Facing Contamination in Drinking water near Kakamega Kenya
The rural areas of Kakamega County of Kenya facing contamination in drinking water, the majority of people using borehole water for drinking purposes and travels from 1 to 2 km sometime to fetch drinking water for the families’ usage
AHD saw the poor conditions of rural women and women usually sick due to water borne diseases. The attached pictures show how women fetching water and taking water to their homes is not safe and clean,
AHD looking opportunity to help rural Kenya with Nadi filter technology and we hope this project will enable AHD to startup trainings and help rural Kenya

Poor Families using Nadi filter in Kenya
AHD Pakistan working hard to reach poor families around the world. In this regard AHD started Nadi filter promotion in Africa and selected Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique and Zimbabwe for the startup of Nadi filter activity to help poor Africa, we at AHD are very delighted to share that Nadi filter successfully reached Kenya and some 10 Nadi filter units installed in Kakamega to Kisumu and Nairobi.
One filter is also installed at UMANDE TRUST in its office in Kibria Slum Nairobi, the Project Leader Miss. Benazir organized that training and now they have one unit installed at their office.

AHD delighted to share the Nadi filter technology in Kenya, AHD attended as a speaker for one of Conference “Innovate Water 4 Kisumu” 6-7 Feb 2019 and after the conference Mr. A. Khurshid Bhatti, CEO AHD traveled to Kakamega, Mumusia and Kisumu Counties, visited several families and village communities across western region and finally comes to the decision that Nadi filter water technology urgent basis needed at Kenya as “Nadi filter are cheap, innovative and lifetime solutions for rural and poor people do not afford market high price filters.

AHD Looking to help at initial stage some 500 families and the budget need about 35,000 at initial stage for seminars, Nadi filter trainings and 500 Nadi filter distribution in poor families to Access Safe & Clean Drinking Water at household level. Hope you all support our this initiative
