FUND RASISING REMAINS ACTIVE

By Dr Ravi Vibhuti | Project Lead

Palliative Care For Orphaned Children

We've so far raised $717.95 generously donated by 16 donors on GlobalGiving Platform.

All this money collected on the Platform has been transferred to the International Rotary Fellowship of Health Professionals bank account.

The money collected so for is short of our expectations. In view of the given circumstances, especially the cost-of-living rise in almost all economies and the war in Europe is not helping the fund-raising efforts.

Besides the most of our active campaigners were busy in the last six months in volunteering to Ukraine cause. So, we haven’t put lots of effort to raise the money to Children’s palliative Care.

In the coming months, we plan to advertise the project and share GlobalGiving donation link on social media and International Rotary fellowship of Healthcare Professionals website to attract more donations.

Our immediate target is to achieve to raise at least $5000 by Mid-December 2022.

If we reach this target, we are hoping to seek additional funds in liaison with Rotary Clubs in South Africa and in England to secure more funds from the Rotary International to secure the medical equipment’s to monitor and treat Palliative care children and also some additional funding to increase the capacity of care.

As informed in our main appeal, the Butterfly Home is based in KwaZulu-Natal South Africa, is engaged in providing full time palliative care to orphaned and abandoned children. Without such humanitarian effort, these children will die with no dignity and no love.

In order either continue to provide such a loving care or to buy the medications that are necessary for the treatments or to purchase the equipment’s that are needed, can only met by your generous donations.
