Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Parents of LGBTQ Children – Virtual Support Groups project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned virtual sessions and support activities have not yet begun.
Many parents of LGBTQ children continue to face stigma, confusion, and isolation. Without access to trusted guidance or safe spaces to talk, families often struggle to understand and support their children. This can lead to tension at home and affect the emotional state of both parents and children.
In many cases, silence and misinformation make it harder for families to seek help. Parents may feel alone, unsure of where to turn, or afraid to speak openly about their concerns.
This project is designed to create confidential virtual support groups, where parents can connect with trained facilitators and other parents facing similar situations. Through guided discussions, participants will receive support, share experiences, and learn practical ways to build stronger relationships with their children.
With access to this kind of support, families can grow in understanding and provide a safer, more supportive environment for their children.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so these sessions can begin and reach families who need them.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
