Sisterhood Agenda Community Event

Celebrating community at an event on Friday, February 16, 2024, that brought together residents and local businesses in a powerful display of unity and support for the Williams Estates & Peppermint Woods Community in Middle River, Maryland, next to Sisterhood Agenda's PARKS Holistic Housing development. Sisterhood Agenda gives gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible.  Your support, kindness, and generosity are the pillars upon which our community stands, and together, we will continue to build a brighter, more supportive future for all.

Sponsored by the Baltimore County Mobile Home Association, the celebrating community event highlighted the collective effort to bring awareness for Sisterhood Agenda's PARKS Holistic Housing initiative, increase association members, and resolve the pressing issue of bicycle theft among children in the community, culminating in a day of celebration, generosity, and community spirit.

As we reflect on the success of our event, we are reminded of the strength that lies in unity and the incredible impact we can achieve when we come together for a common cause.

Thanks to the significant contributions from local businesses and individual donors, the event was a resounding success.

The spirit of celebrating community continued with generously donated pizzas for the children attending the event. This kind gesture added a layer of joy and community bonding to the occasion, ensuring the event was not only meaningful but also enjoyable for the youngest members of our community.

Sisterhood Agenda also extends its heartfelt thanks to Ms. Thelma and Donna, whose volunteer efforts were instrumental in the smooth execution of the event. Their dedication, hard work, and positive energy played a vital role in making the day a success, demonstrating the power and impact of volunteerism in strengthening community ties.

Sisterhood Agenda wants a safer, more supportive, and connected place for everyone.

A highlight of the celebrating community event was the laptop giveaway, where three lucky children, Clarissa, Trinity, and Kevin were awarded laptops. This initiative underscores Sisterhood Agenda's commitment to supporting the educational development and empowerment of our community's youth. These laptops serve as essential tools for learning and creativity, offering new opportunities for growth and exploration.

Investing in our children is one of the best ways we can continue celebrating community.

Together, we make a difference in the lives of our children and our community, and we look forward to continuing this journey of empowerment and collaboration.

"We are celebrating community! Sisterhood Agenda's event not only addressed a critical issue but also showcased the incredible things that can be achieved when we come together in support of one another," said Angela D. Coleman, President of Sisterhood Agenda. "We are deeply grateful for the generosity of local businesses, our volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this event a meaningful and joyous occasion."
