Protecting Our Planet, Empowering Our Communities

By Angela D Coleman | Founder and President

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our update. As I continue my studies to become a Certified Master Naturalist, I am constantly reminded of the incredible wisdom and abundance found in nature. At the same time, I’ve become increasingly aware of how much damage has been done through industrialization, harmful farming, and careless land use. But here’s what gives me hope: we can choose a better way forward.

At Sisterhood Agenda, we are showing what’s possible with sustainable housing and community development through initiatives like the Sisterhood Empowerment Academy (SEA) in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands and PARKS Holistic Housing in Baltimore County, Maryland.

This spring, as flowers bloom and ecosystems come alive, we are inspired by nature’s ability to renew—and we’re doing the same in our communities. We're creating green, healing spaces that promote wellness, safety, and resilience for those who need it most.

With your support, we’ve been able to provide:

Holistic housing that honors people and the planet
Resources like our Self-Care & Safety Guide for Women and How to Create a Healing Space for Women and Girls
Giveaways of essentials—clothing, books, technology, and more
A strong sense of community through shared spaces, mutual aid, and empowerment

Your generosity has already made a powerful impact—but there’s still so much more we can do together.

Give today to help us expand sustainable housing and healing spaces.
Share our project to spread the word and grow our impact.
Stay connected and be part of a global movement for environmental and social justice.

In a world full of challenges, your support brings hope, healing, and real change. Thank you for believing in us.  And thank you for helping us build a brighter, greener future.

In the Spirit of Sisterhood,
Angela D. Coleman, MBA, CNM
