Hello all!

On behalf of everyone here at Center for Peacebuilding we would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a fantastic New Year. 2017 was extremely productive for us, all thanks to you and your generous donations.

We continue to develop activities that will be part of the Peace Embassy program. In the past months young actors from CIM's Children's Theater "Life" have been preparing their second play for Christmas.

During the summer, our valuable volunteers cleared the waste from the land where our Peace Embassy will be, as well as the part of the river bank next to the land.

In September, we held our eighth International Peace Week where we had numerous workshops and lectures on peace-building and reconciliation as well as human rights, and our guests and lecturers were from BiH, Switzerland, USA, Colombia, Brazil and Ukraine. We hope that in the future we will be able to offer quality lectures and workshops at our Peace Embassy where we would provide better conditions for guests and lecturers.

We will keep you informed about the progress of our Community Peace Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We would like to say a massive, sincere thank you for all of your support in 2017. Your generous donations have helped us continue our work, and now CIM is growing into an internationally renouned organisation.

New programs for our Peace Embassy

Hello from the Center for Peacebuilding!

I hope you had a wonderful summer and that you are ready to enjoy the new season. We have had a very productive summer and now we are busy planning our further activities.

While we are waiting for the development of the Community Peace Center in Sanski Most, we are still working on the design of various programs that will complement our center.

So this year we had free yoga classes for our volunteers and fellow citizens, which proved to be very successful. Yoga as an activity of body and spirit fits in perfectly with our vision of the center.
Of course, there is also CIM's children's theater called "Life", which since April worked really hard and during our International Peace Week performed their first play in the city hall.

Children enjoy acting and we are proud to say that new members constantly coming in, and we can hardly wait to offer them more space and better working conditions in the Center.
For the youngest we also hold English classes where through creative and entertaining workshops twice a week children have chance to learn and improve their knowledge of a foreign language.

CIM's Interreligious Choir "Harmony" continuing with the good work, performing concerts all around Bosnia, where they sing songs from different traditions and religions from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This will be one of the programs we will continue to have at our new community center, where trough music we are celebrating our diferencies and sharing peace among the people.

The Peace Embassy will be the center of many activities and programs that will bring people together so we can build peace and reconciliation together.

We will keep you updated on all of our progress, and thank you for your continued support of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
