In 2013 we've managed to raise $765 for our project on Globalgiving, and we believe it has been a major accomplishment. The project is vast and requires a lot of resources, especially financial ones, though every day we are more and more optimistic about its prospects.
In the past few months we have managed to get professional business planning and analysis advice, and we are now working on developing a solid business proposal in order to also attract funding from big donors. Our team at the office and abroad are constantly researching the best and most efficient methods to generate sustainable income.
Community engagement with CIM has also grown considerably in the past year, and many stress the benefitial impact of a local community centre for Sanski Most. Particularly we've looked at how this local run social enterprise will incorporate creating new jobs, particularly for local unemployed youth. Eco-tourism will play a major role in the project, and we hope to start some of our income generation ventures this year.
With your support we can leave our desks at the office, and put some of our plans into action.
