DTI Foundation is an international non-profit organization based in Barcelona dedicated to improving organ donation and transplantation systems through training, consultancy, and capacity building.
In Peru, DTI Foundation has contributed to strengthening professional competencies in organ donation and transplantation through educational activities and international training programs.
Healthcare professionals from Peru have participated in the TPM (Transplant Procurement Management) training program, an international course developed by DTI focused on donor detection, donor management, and transplant coordination. This program provides practical and theoretical training aimed at improving hospital coordination and increasing organ donation opportunities.
Through the participation of Peruvian professionals in these training activities, DTI Foundation supports knowledge transfer and the development of professional skills related to organ donation and transplantation.
These initiatives contribute to strengthening professional capacity and supporting the ongoing development of organ donation and transplantation practices in Peru.
