Thank you, Peruvian Hearts family! Your generous and loyal support allows us to expand our program to help more deserving girls in Peru. We continue to search for and bring in new scholars who dream of continuing their education in University and becoming leaders within their families and communities.
It is with great pride that we honor our first PH scholar, Jhuvilka (Jhuvi), to graduate with a degree in Medicine. On March 23rd she successfully defended her thesis at University Andina in Cusco. Jhuvi will now begin a 3-year residency program where she will gain a specialization in reconstructive plastic surgery in order to fulfill her dream of helping children who have been involved in accidents or born with birth defects.
While Jhuvilka prepares for the next chapeter in her life, so do four of our newest Peruvian Hearts scholars who we are proud to introduce and welcome into our PH Family. These young women were selected for their passion to become leaders and strong women who will change the world in numerous ways. Each of our newest Peruvian Hearts scholars has great potential and a bright future ahead and we're excited to watch them grow as young women and as a group. Their strong academics and compassionate hearts, combined with a drive to develop important knowledge and life skills, will take them far and help them become agents of change in our world. We want to give a warm PH welcome to Yenifer, Aldeyny, Yanet, and Cecilia.
These girls recently finished their secondary education and their dreams are to establish professional careers in order to help others. Yenifer has just started to study Geological Engineering at the National University in Cusco. Cecilia has also just started at the National University in Cusco and is studying Education. Aldeyny and Yanet are preparing for their entrance exams with their goal being to gain admitance into the National University in Cusco to study Information Enginering.
Again, to all of our supporters and PH family, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your loyal support and want you to understand the important and profound impact your generosity continues to make in the lives of each and every one of our PH scholars. #phfamily
