Since it's launch in August, Peruvian Promise has been actively working to empower and educate the 16 young women who are participating in the program. Seven of these girls are on track to graduate from secondary school at the end of the school year and will be taking a prep course to better prepare them for the university entrance exam. One of the girls who is graduating is 16-year-old Katherine who plans to attend university and fulfill her dreams of becoming a civil engineer and helping her family. Katherine is incredibly thankful for the opportunities that Peruvian Hearts' supporters have provided her through Peruvian Promise.
We want to say thank you again to all of our generous donors. Your enthusiasm and support for this important program allows these deserving young women the opportunity to continue their education and fulfill their dreams of becoming professionals and giving back to their families and communities.
If you would like to continue supporting this inspiring program, we are gladly accepting gifts to benefit the Peruvian Promise college scholarship fund. This fund enables girls like Katherine to continue their education beyond the secondary school level and empowers them by giving them education and tools they need to succeed and break the cycle of poverty.
