We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for your ongoing support and generosity to benefit the Peruvian Hearts scholars in Peru. Your continued investment plays a vital role in helping us empower our Peruvian Hearts scholars and enable them to transform their lives and futures. Your donations make it possible for us to provide these young women with transformational opportunities to grow as individual leaders and strong women.

In June, we celebrated twenty-four of our Peruvian Hearts scholars as they became Peruvian Hearts Alumni. Each of these twenty-four women recently received their university Bachelor’s degrees and will continue to accomplish their goals. For the last five to six years, these young women have devoted themselves to their studies and worked diligently to achieve the goal of obtaining a university degree. They became the first members of their families to receive a university degree. While some of our scholars will continue on to write scholarly, research-based theses, others will begin working at jobs in their respective fields of study. Each of them will now have the opportunity to use her university education to transform the life of her family and pay it forward. The contributions made to society by each of these new Peruvian Hearts graduates will be significant and meaningful.

We are excited to celebrate our most recent university graduates. Over the course of the last few months, six Peruvian Hearts scholars received their Bachelor’s degrees from the National University in Cusco (UNSAAC). PH scholars, Adriela, Lurdes, Norka and Lizbeth received their Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, while Ruth Katherine and Melani received their degrees in Business Administration. All five of these young women will transform their futures and contribute to society by becoming agents of change in a variety of ways. We are enthusiastic to watch them as they strive towards new goals and dreams and continue to grow as strong women leaders and as exceptional professionals in this new and exciting chapter of their lives.

Thank you again for your support for the young women in our program. Your unwavering belief and confidence in Peruvian Hearts and desire to be involved in the lives of the PH scholars, keeps them motivated and driven to succeed and achieve their dreams. Your commitment to help our scholars and investment in their education is paying great dividends and will help make lasting change for generations to come.
