Peruvian Hearts - Girls' Education & Empowerment

Thank you to our loyal donors and the entire Peruvian Hearts family for your continued support. It is your significant generosity and gifts of love that enable us to grow as an organization and impact the lives of even more girls, their families, and communities in Peru. We are so blessed to have such giving supporters and we are grateful for each individual gift to help the girls. 

We are excited to share with you news of one of our Peruvian Hearts scholars, Yoselin, who was recently admitted to study Communication Sciences in Lima at Universidad Pontifica de La Catolica, which many people consider to be the best university in Peru. Yoselin, is the sister of Peruvian Hearts scholar Gloria, who has been studying in Lima at Universidad Pontifica de la Catolica for the past two years. We are so proud of Yoselin for taking the initiative to take the rigorous entrance procedures including a highly selective interview process in order to follow her dream to study at this excellent university. She joins her sister Gloria, who is studying Mining Engineering, Peruvian Hearts scholar Maribel, who is studying accounting at La Catolica as well as Peruvian Hearts scholar Rosa, who is studying Chemical Engineering, has completed her classes at the National University in Cusco and is currently working to complete her thesis at the National University of Engineering in Lima.

The girls enjoy living together in an apartment near the university that is Peruvian Hearts provides in addition to their academic scholarships. We are so proud of Yoselin, as she works hard each and every day to change her life and the lives of her family members.
