By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project helping farmers grow crops despite the heat-wave that is happening in the villages. The heat-wave is caused by a phenomenon called El Nino and is particularly devastating to farming as most of the farmers depend on rainwater for their crops. Most of our farmers are considered small or those whose landholding being farmed is less than 2 acre in size. This reporting period we provided technical assistance to 30 farmers so that they are able to utilize water sources like springs and creeks for their needs rather than being always dependent on rain. We also distributed vegetable seeds and small farming tools to the 30 farmer we are able to support this reporting period. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
