The start of our tree planting begins with local native seeds. In keeping with our objectives to promote proper environmental management and sustainable agriculture, Green Care Association (GCA) field team identified a good number of trees to collect native seeds. This was followed by collection and proper storage. Many are these seeds will grow into native trees with huge canopy, Bee loving flowers and are water catchment protection friendly amongst other benefits. Our friend Ambrose, who happened to visit exclaimed " which type of trees are these, and where do you guys get them? I like this type of work, invite me next time to join." GCA remain grateful for GlobalGiving donors, as their donations have for the most part encouraged our work all through.
