Due to delays in regular rainfall, the Green Care Association postponed its tree-planting activities. Recently, planting took place at the Ndzenshwai community water catchment area. A dedicated team of 12 men and women participated in this initiative, planting hundreds of water-friendly trees, many of which also provide fruit and medicinal benefits.
This achievement was made possible through the generous support of GlobalGiving donors. Their contributions have enabled us to enhance local water conservation efforts and promote biodiversity.
The enthusiasm was palpable. One volunteer, Mr. Frederick, expressed his eagerness for future projects, saying, "Please, next time Green Care should schedule tree planting at our own community water catchment."
