Plant 40,000 Trees In Northern Rwanda

• As we have reported last time, planting trees is our pansion, in order to protect the future of our planet.
• Rwanda has released the restrictions between provinces and districts, today no lockdown in Rwanda. 
• Today we have started the exercise to take Google Plus code and we will continue this tomorrow.
• We have also got the opportunity to visit other initiative of the company planting trees, however, they sell them and the population are unable to buy them due to financial problems, the photo attached here! Let’s together protect our planet.

Since January, 2021, COVID-19 cases increased dramatically and Rwandan government forced to take drastic decisions including total lockdown and travel restrictions.  

We have planned for planting 20,000 trees, but at this moment we still have travel restrictions/partial lockdown in place in the country which does not allow travel across districts and to perform field activities, so we are not able to do anything, and on March 15^th 2021, the government is reviewing the lockdown, and we will have more information by then. 

Based on the available Data, showing that from 1st February 2021, COVID-19 cases have been decreased dramatically in Rwanda, and as Rwanda has received covid-19 vaccine on 3 March 2021 — the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines through the COVAX initiative and started vaccination from the risk groups, including health personnel, those above 65 years old or with underlying health conditions, and other frontline workers. There is hope that, travel restrictions will be removed on 15th March and we will be starting our planting trees project by then.
