First Round 4000 trees will be planted

By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader

Mutiheba Jean Bosco, is the  field coordinator for the Plant 20,000 Trees In Northern Rwanda project.

He said '" planting trees is a good project, I enjoy seeing trees growing, day after day, there are changes, I can't wait to eat fruits from those trees as some of them are trees that can give enjoyable fruits. Today, we are growing Grevellia, citron trees, orange, Papaya and passion fruits.

There are all growing well, and there are ready to be planted.  I am having two people caring of them and ensure the full security of them.

Although, trees are growing well, this project is facing financial issues as currently the activities of preparing the land of where we shall plant the trees not yet started due to lack of funds.

I am still positive with the sucess of this project, I know preparing the land is not easy, but  I and my team we are happy to see how we can start, but it is very difficult for 3 people working directly in this project to prepare the land of 4000 trees.

We take this opportunity to thank all donors who supported this project from the begenning.

We also request you to support this important stage, It is a crucial stage because without immediate action, our trees may go bad and all our efforts from the begenning will be nothing.

We are pleased to let you know that RWAYDAVO is participating in #GivingTuesday which  is a global day of giving celebrated by nonprofits, corporations, and donors alike.

#GivingTuesday is an opportunity to harness the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in our community. GlobalGiving is offering a $1 million giveaway to our community on Nov. 30, 2021. The more our organization raises, the more we'll get from the giveaway!

We request you to come forward to donate to RWAYDAVO as soon as possible, because the GlobalGiving’s 2021 #GivingTuesday campaign will last 24 hours, from 00:00:00 EST to 23:59:59 EST on November 30, 2021.
