Plant 40,000 Trees In Northern Rwanda

Dear Patrons,

Thank you so much for all the support
that you have provided so far for our
Rwanda forestation project.

We are happy to update you that
saplings are growing well, and we are
looking forward to plant those saplings
by the end of December 2021 in all
our identified five locations.

In this report, I wish to share with you
the information about the second area. This
area’s Google code is Rwanda: 72RJ+MQ
This area’s name is Buyoga, in Gasare cell.

This area is located in Rwanda, Rulindo
district and Burega sector, on the hill of
Buyoga.

The nature of the soil in this area is such
that the soil texture is also soft during the
rainy season and becomes hard during the
dry season. Because it is hard during the
dry season, similar characteristics with

 the first land report to you. It is difficult

to cultivate or to prepare this land during

dry season.It is rainy season till end of

January here in Buyoga, so we are

Planning to plant the saplings by the

end of December 2021.

We need to prepare the land by weeding
out the existing small plants, shrubs, and
other unwanted growth, so that the land
can be made suitable for planting the
saplings.

To ensure the security of our trees we will
be using BRC brand fence, which is a
welded wire fence that belongs to
Zensen fence product series. BRC fence
is also called “roll top” fence. The fence
protects the land in which the trees are
going to planted from animals like goats,
cows, and sheep, as well as from the
disturbances caused by the humans.

For preparing all the second land, we are in
need of funds around US$1000, which
will include the cost of the organic
fertilizer also. To start with preparing
the second land, we need immediate funds,
so that we can go ahead with the work.
