Dear Patrons,
We do appreciate for the continuous
support you offer to Rwandan Youth
Development and Voluntary Organization
(RWAYDAVO) and the Rwanda forestation
project as well. We are happy to update
you that saplings are growing very well,
and we are looking forward to plant those
saplings by the end of December 2021 in
all our identified five locations and to do
this we need 5000 USD, this cost include
the organic fertilizer and the transport of
the saplings.
In this report, I wish to share with you the
information about the fifth area of
plantation. This area’s Google code is
Rwanda: 635W+P8 This area’s name is
Murambi, in Karengeri cell. This area
is located in Rwanda, Rulindo district
and Burega sector, Karengeri, on the hill
of Murambi, the area that was used
to be called “Kanunga”.
The nature of the soil in this area is such
that the soil texture is red in color with very
small stones occupy almost 50% of the
soil and is soft during the rainy season
and dries up very quickly during the dry
season. The type of this soil retain water.
Because it retains water during
the rain season and dries up very quickly
during the dry season, we need to plant the
saplings during rainy season. It is also difficult
to cultivate or to prepare this land during dry season
as this soil has small stones and dries very quickly
during the dry season. It is rainy season
till end of January here in Murambi
(Kanunga), so we are planning to take the
opportunity to plant the saplings by the
end of December 2021.
In order to plant, we need to prepare
the land by weeding out the existing
small plants, shrubs, and other unwanted
growth, so that the land can be made
suitable for planting the saplings. To
ensure the security of our trees, we
will be using BRC brand fence, which
is a welded wire fence that belongs to
Zensen fence product series. BRC
fence is also called “roll top” fence.
The fence protects the land in which
the trees are going to planted from
animals like goats, cows, and sheep,
as well as from the disturbances
caused by the humans.
For preparing all the fifth land,
we are in need of funds around
US$1000, which will include the cost
of the organic fertilizer also. To start
with preparing the fifth land, we
need immediate funds, so that we
can go ahead with the work.
We request you to donate generously
for our project so that we can start
our work. You could also consider
doing a monthly recurring donation
for our project, which will help us
with our ongoing work. The link for
the monthly recurring donation is
mentioned below in the report.
We thank you for everything that
you have done for our project, and
we look forward for your continued
support.
Thanks and Best Regards.
