Plant 40,000 Trees In Northern Rwanda

Dear Patrons,

Thank you so much for all the support that you have provided so far for our
Rwanda forestation project.

We are happy to let you know that the saplings are growing well, and we are
looking forward to plant those saplings by the end of January 2024 in land 7

In this report, I wish to share with you the information about the seven land. This
land is located in Rwanda: Lat-1.748860, Long 30.058580
This area’s name is Rulindo.
This area is located in Rwanda, Rulindo district and Burega sector, on the hill of
Butangamundu.

The nature of the soil in this area is such that the soil texture is soft during the
rainy season and becomes hard during the dry season. Because it is hard during the
dry season, and it is difficult to cultivate or to prepare this land during dry season.
The Soil is having the small stones (see attached photo). It is rainy season
till end of January here in Burega sector, so we are planning to plant the
saplings by the end of January 2024.

We need to prepare the land by weeding out the existing small plants, shrubs, and
other unwanted growth, so that the land can be made suitable for planting the
saplings.

For preparing all the 2 hectares of lands including terracing, we are in
need funds around US$ 3000, which will include the cost of terracing
To start with preparing the seven land, we need immediate funds,
so that we can go ahead with the work.
