Status Update on Eucalyptus Saplings

By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader

Dear Patrons,

I hope this message finds you well.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support you have shown since the inception of our tree planting project in Rwanda. Your contributions have played a vital role in the success of this initiative, and we are excited to share the progress we have made thus far.

This report provides an update on the growth and development of the Eucalyptus saplings at RWAYDAVO.

Growth Progress

The saplings have shown significant progress in the past weeks. The most recent photographs confirm that they are healthy, vigorous, and growing steadily. Their strong development indicates that they are on track for a successful planting season, and we remain optimistic about their continued growth.

Planting Timeline

Given the current growth rate and overall health of the saplings, we are confident that they will be ready for planting by early January 2025. We are excited to move forward with this important phase of the project, which will mark a significant milestone in our efforts to restore the environment and combat climate change.

Next Steps

Moving forward, we will continue to monitor the saplings closely to ensure they are receiving the best possible care and optimal growing conditions. We will begin land preparations for the planting process in late December, including site preparation and the coordination of logistics, to ensure a smooth and successful transition when planting begins in January.

Conclusion

The Eucalyptus saplings at RWAYDAVO are progressing well and remain on track for planting within the projected timeline. We will keep you updated on any further developments and look forward to sharing the success of the planting season with you.

Thank you once again for your continued support. It is because of you that we are able to make this positive impact on the environment, and we are grateful for your partnership in this important endeavor.

Warm regards,
Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana
President, RWAYDAVO
