Dear Patrons,
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support you have shown toward our reforestation efforts in Rwanda. Thanks to your generosity, we successfully planted over 40,000 trees this past year, and we are pleased to report that they are thriving and actively contributing to the restoration of Rwanda's natural landscape.
We’re excited to update you on the next phase of our work. We are currently growing over 30,000 new saplings, which we plan to plant between September 2025 and May 2026. Germination has been a tremendous success, with seeds sprouting into strong, healthy young trees. These saplings are now being placed in plastic bags to strengthen their roots and prepare them for the planting season. They will be ready by October 2025.
These saplings are being carefully nurtured at our site in Buyoga, Rwanda (Google Plus Code: 72PG+VXG). We’ve attached recent photos so you can see the encouraging progress firsthand.
Looking ahead, our new target is to plant more than 70,000 trees in total by the end of the upcoming season. To make this possible, we need your continued support. Ongoing funding is essential for land preparation, organic fertilizers, transportation, and planting. Long-term care and maintenance will also be crucial to ensure the trees grow and thrive.
We kindly invite you to consider making a generous contribution to support this next phase. Monthly recurring donations are especially impactful, helping us maintain a steady and sustainable flow of resources throughout the year. You can set up your donation using the link below.
Your commitment has already made a meaningful difference. We are truly grateful and look forward to sharing more milestones with you in the months to come.
With sincere thanks,
Jean Damascene UWIZEYIMANA
President, RWAYDAVO
