Plant 50,000 Native Trees in Togo's Rural schools

We are pleased to share the latest updates on our Tree Planting in Togo’s Rural Schools initiative. Your generous contributions continue to support our mission of promoting environmental sustainability, improving school environments, and fostering community engagement. Here’s what we’ve accomplished in the past three months:

Program Expansion

• We have expanded our program to three additional schools in Togo, bringing our total to 24 participating schools.

Upcoming Tree Planting Initiative

• We are preparing to plant mango and orange trees in all 24 schools between April and May.

• These trees will provide shade, improve air quality, and offer long-term nutritional benefits to students and communities.

Preparation Efforts

• We purchased 700 saplings from a local women’s group, supporting both environmental sustainability and economic empowerment.

• We visited all 24 schools to mobilize students, teachers, and community leaders, ensuring active participation in the tree-planting event.

• Our website was reconfigured for improved navigation and project updates, making it easier for supporters to stay informed.
