Dear Friend,

We are overjoyed to share a milestone that would not have been possible without you:
Development Alert, together with local communities, has planted 13,000 trees!

This achievement is not just about numbers—it’s about lives transformed, land restored, and hope renewed. Every tree planted is a symbol of your compassion, commitment, and belief in a better, greener future.

Powered by Communities, Made Possible by You

Across hillsides, fields, and homesteads, people came together to breathe life back into the land. Women, elders, youth, and children worked shoulder to shoulder—digging, planting, and protecting each seedling with love and pride.

"We’re not just planting trees," said Amina, a mother of three. "We’re planting a future for our children."

This movement is theirs—and yours.

 Why It Matters

With your support, the 13,000 trees will:

  • Restore degraded land

  • Capture carbon and combat climate change

  • Improve soil and water retention

  • Provide fruit, shade, and habitat for wildlife

  • Reignite a deep connection between people and nature

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Donors

None of this would have taken root without you. Your generosity has been the fertile soil for this dream.

Every rustling leaf, every blossoming bud, and every breath of fresh air is a living tribute to your kindness. From all of us at Development Alert—and the communities who now stand taller and stronger—thank you.

You didn't just donate. You made a difference.

What’s Next?

This is only the beginning. The success of this initiative has inspired even more communities to step forward. With your continued support, we aim to plant thousands more trees—and nurture even more hope.

Because together, we’re not just planting trees…
We’re planting tomorrow.

With deep gratitude,
Zachery Onyango, Founder and CEO-The Development Alert
