Thanks to our generous donors, who have contributed over $200, we are excited to share that 500 more roots have been added to our growing impact. This week, we distributed 500 assorted fruit tree seedlings to households across eastern Uganda. These seedlings are more than just trees — they represent income opportunities, improved household nutrition, and meaningful climate action. By planting fruit trees, families will benefit from: Increased income through the sale of surplus fruits Better nutrition for children and households Environmental restoration through improved soil health and carbon absorption Long-term resilience against climate change impacts Each tree planted strengthens both livelihoods and the environment. For many households, fruit trees are a sustainable investment that continues to give back season after season. This milestone brings us one step closer to our ambitious mission of planting 50,000 trees in eastern Uganda. However, much work remains. With continued support, we can expand distribution, reach more families, and accelerate community-led climate solutions. We warmly call upon more generous supporters to join us. Every contribution helps put another seedling in the ground, another source of nutrition on a family’s table, and another step toward a greener, more resilient future. Together, we can grow lasting change — one tree at a time.
