Title: 10,000 Trees Planted Across Multiple Locations by Alkhidmat Volunteers
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation successfully conducted a large-scale plantation drive, planting 10,000 saplings across different locations with the active participation of over 100 volunteers, including school children and youth.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s ongoing environmental protection and climate action efforts, aimed at promoting a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Pakistan.
Story / Update
Environmental degradation, deforestation, and climate change continue to pose serious threats to communities across Pakistan. Rising temperatures, poor air quality, and loss of green spaces directly affect public health and quality of life—especially in urban and semi-urban areas.
To contribute toward environmental restoration, Alkhidmat Foundation mobilized volunteers, students, and community members for a mega plantation drive. Together, they planted 10,000 saplings in public spaces, schools, and community areas.
School children enthusiastically participated in the activity, learning the importance of trees, environmental responsibility, and collective action. Volunteers also committed to nurturing the planted saplings to ensure long-term survival and impact.
This initiative not only improved green cover but also fostered environmental awareness and civic responsibility among young participants.
