Trees are always GIVING!

As we approach the end of 2022, we hope you and your family have enjoyed the many blessings of a good year and happy HOLIDAY season. Its never too late to gift a tree to someone this special season of rebirth and regeneration.

We will be cleaning all the baby trees again starting the week after NEW YEARS. The fact is that climate change has been bringing unseasonal rains to Costa Rica. These off season rains mean the cattle grasses have continued to grow. So in keeping with our dedicated commitment to care for every single tree you sponsor, we will be back in field to chop the choking heavy grasses and liberate the vulnerable baby trees so they can soak up some needed sunshine during the dry season. Its important to open up some space for sunlight to enter to avoid plagues, funghal problems and root insects.

We have also learned that the yoiung and small trees will die in the hot dry summer if they are covered and choiked by the cattle grasses. So this extra added cleaning is truly the difference between life and death for the young trees. Thats why we include the cost of maintenance and follow up with every tree in order to guarantee they actually grow into a healthy biodiverse rainforest.

There is no doubt that the work starts with planting the tree. We love the follow up work of making sure they all grow. We value your sponsorship and trust and we feel so excited to keep showing you the progress of our future forests now.

THANK YOU!
