Dear friends,
We are excited to announce that FTPF will be returning to Guatemala this year to work with our partners at Casa Guatemala to plant fruit trees for their community! After a very challenging year for everyone, including severe weather and storms in Rio Dulce, this will be a welcome and exciting project. We plan to replace some trees that were lost due to flooding at Casa Guatemala, as well as distribute more fruit trees to the surrounding villagers as well as possibly another nearby school.
Stay tuned in to our Facebook or Instagram for updates from the field this summer. We are so grateful for all your support of this very important project, and happy Earth Day and Arbor Day!
Gratefully,
The FTPF Team
PS: Depending on the situation in Central America regarding the pandemic and current health guidelines, FTPF may be welcoming volunteers to join us on the ground again this year. If you are interested, please fill out the form on our website. Please note the trip to Guatemala is an add-on to our larger project in El Salvador.
