Hola friends,
We are less than two months away from our annual trip to Guatemala to plant fruit trees with the children and families of Rio Dulce! We are so happy to have the opportunity to continue this project, as it has become increasingly popular with the local and surrounding villages.
This year, we will be planting trees like usual at Casa Guatemala in order to provide food, education, and a healthy environment for the school's children, most of whom come from households in poverty and facing food insecurity. We will also be providing fruit trees directly to these same households, as well as others in the surrounding villages in order to help low-income families with food and income. This will all be accompanied by tree planting demonstrations and the sharing and exchange of both our's and the local tree knowledge.
If you are able, please consider making a donation today to support this work. We are so grateful to people like you who share our belief in the power of fruit trees to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Guatemalan children and families.
Muchas gracias,
The FTPF Team
