Happy Times

By David Sandoval | Volunteer

We've been having some happy times lately. Children's birthdays, holidays or any special ocations are never ignored at the clinic. Our team with the help of the medical team and the local and international commuty are able to throw celebrations for the kids!

Here are some pictures so you can get to know us a little better. First we have one of our oldest kids, she wants to become a psychologist because she wants 'To help people like her, listen to their fears and what's worrying them and give them her opinion'. Right there she's posing with the doctor who's wearing a clown nose for a birthday party.

We also have another one of our older kids, during her birthday. We got her a cake and balloon and everyone got to celebrate with her. This girl wants to study gastromy and become a chef. She has overcomed cancer and just continues through her check up period to make sure cancer doesn't return to her body.

Last but not least, We have one of our younger kids. This girl is a happy soul at all times, doesn't matter how hard the world is, she's always smiling and wanting to learn new things, and her mom is true warrior, both of them incredible and inspiring women.

Hearing a little bit of people's lifes while battling such a scary disease helps us understand that courage can be found even in the darkest times. These people are some of the most inspiring human beings out there, and we can learn from them on how to stay strong and positive, and find happiness no mtter how life looks like.
