BOOST MENTAL HEALTH FOR 3MIL KIDS IN 180 COUNTRIES

What a wonderful year for POP-UP Festival!  We have ambitious goals to increase our mentor program, host more regional community events and add more celebrations of SEL to our calendar! We’re very excited about a busy year planned for POP-UP Festival. 

The Super POP-UP Festival held at UNICEF Headquarters in NYC on November 20 was a success!  We had 24 volunteers from all over the USA plus many from NY join us to staff the event with a local school. We had over 100 people attend the event and so many parents commented this was an amazing experience to talk about emotions and SDGs in a playful way.

POP-UP Festival has become an official partners with #SELday. What is #SELday?  SEL Day is a global, grassroots campaign for social-emotional learning to support children's academic recovery, mental health, and well-being. We are excited to raise awareness for SEL and engage our volunteers and mentors around the world. The event takes place on March 8, 2024. We invited all POP-UP participants to share their stories and images on social media on March 8 so we can make a positive impact for the movement.

We want to grow the POP-UP Festival this year! Will you help?  We are looking to activate more mentors and volunteers. Did you know 98% of people who host POP-UP events want to do it again the following year? Beyond hosting another POP-UP, a few excited, dedicated volunteers want to teach and support others. They can become POP-UP mentors. We have a terrific program to train mentors and want to expand our regional footprint this year more widely.
