Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are delighted to share encouraging news about the preservation of St. Nicholas Church in Katafygion. Thanks to your generosity and the reach of our donor outreach program, our fundraising campaign continues to grow—bringing together supporters across the United States, Greece, and beyond through media and social platforms.
With this expanding circle of friends who share our devotion to heritage, faith, and community, the Church Council is advancing the essential preparations. The selection of expert specialists for the required studies—architectural, structural-static-antiseismic, electro-mechanical, and preservation—is nearly complete. At the same time, we are close to securing official permission from the state archaeological service to analyze samples from the monument, a critical step that will inform and strengthen the studies ahead.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you who, with faith and trust, stand beside us in this ambitious and meaningful endeavor. Your support ensures that this treasured monument will endure for generations to come.
In our next quarterly report, we look forward to sharing further updates on the progress of this important project.
With warm regards and deep appreciation,
The Church Council
