Project Report: Empathy in Action
Subject: Prevent Domestic Violence in Pakistan during COVID-19
Through the Empathy in Action initiative, Dawood Global Foundation has been able to offer critical support to women and children at risk of domestic violence, especially during and after the COVID-19 crisis. With your generous donations, we provided safe shelter, legal guidance, emotional counseling, and awareness campaigns to empower survivors and educate communities. In a time when lockdowns trapped many in unsafe homes, your support gave them a lifeline and a voice.
Please note, we are not in collaboration with GlobalGiving Foundation; this work is made possible entirely through the heartfelt donations of individuals like you. Your compassion is saving lives. With your continued support, we can expand our reach, build safer communities, and protect more vulnerable families. Let’s keep empathy in action—together.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
